Every so often (usually monthly), KoryOnTheRadio will feature an artist that the OWNERS of the website think you should know about. On some occasions, we will know which artist we want to feature the next time we update this page and will announce the next artist ahead of time when this occurs.
If you have an artist that you think we should know about, send us an email (
[email protected]) so that we can do our research on this artist! If we feature your suggestion, we will mention who suggested the artist to us, so don't forget to mention your name as well!
Formally of Chicago based pop group, Vi3 ("Eyes Closed So Tight", 2003), Justin was also on the first season of Making the Band, which ultimately formed O-Town.
Justin's song, "Where Are You?", was also featured on Natalie's debut album (as Justin Roman, not "J.Roman" as he has been known as since 2003) as a bonus track, and also featured on stations such as Kiss108 in Boston back in 2004, with the version featuring the girls from Soluna. (Kory even interviewed Justin, thanks to my friendship with him, back in 2004 while at Kiss108. I am still looking for that interview, I hope I can find it in my MANY files!)
Justin is a singer/songwriter from Chicago, and is a HUGE Cubs fan. When he isn't working, you can pretty much bet he is either at a Cubs game or watching a Cubs game.
Besides being a recording artist, Justin also works for WBBM, Chicago's B96.3 fm, with his co-host Dougie Stylz, driving you home every afternoon from 2pm-7pm CST.
Be sure to check out Justin's MySpace at
http://www.myspace.com/jromanmusic and you can check him out on B96's website at
http://www.b96hits.com as well.
Be sure to request his single, Slow Jam Mixtape... It's pretty awesome... and I've heard MANY versions of it, from the demo to the version with Natalie, to the latest version featuring ColorBlind. Even the remix is hawt!
You can purchase Slow Jam Mixtape at iTunes, and when you do, send Justin an email at
[email protected] with the subject of REMIX and he will send you the remix of the song for FREE. Just have proof that you actually purchased the song!
